Christine Guzzardo, Ph.D.
Dr. Guzzardo is a Licensed Psychologist in Washington, Oregon, Idaho, and Alaska. She specializes in Pediatric and Adult Neuropsychology and brings over twenty years of knowledge, training, and experience to neuropsychological and psychological evaluations, including complex medical cases, pre-transplant evaluations and post-cancer treatment evaluations, forensic and independent medical examinations, and FAA Cogscreen and HIMS aerospace evaluations.
Dr. Guzzardo has extensive specialized training in Pediatric Neuropsychology. Her areas of specialization include concussion/traumatic brain injury, birth injuries, developmental and learning disorders, neurological disorders, somatization, language and memory problems, dementia, substance abuse, and other neuropsychiatric and medical disorders. She is HIMS trained and conducts aerospace evaluations. Dr. Guzzardo also specializes in psychological evaluation of posttraumatic stress disorder and other mental health conditions.
Dr. Guzzardo received her doctoral degree in Counseling Psychology from the APA accredited University of Southern California. Her graduate coursework included specialized training in pediatric and adult neuropsychology and she completed a clinical internship at the APA accredited Veterans Affairs Los Angeles Healthcare System, specializing in Adult and Geriatric Neuropsychology, Health Psychology, Rehabilitation Psychology, Memory Disorders, Seizure Disorders, and Infectious Diseases. Dr. Guzzardo completed a two-year postdoctoral fellowship, specializing in pediatric and adult Clinical Neuropsychology, at the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA) School of Medicine’s Neuropsychiatric Institute and Hospital.
Dr. Guzzardo is a member of the Society for Clinical Neuropsychology within the American Psychological Association, National Academy of Neuropsychology, Pacific Northwest Neuropsychological Society, European Association for Aviation Psychology, and the Sports Neuropsychology Society.
Dr. Guzzardo served for seven years, two years as Chairperson, on the Washington State Examining Board of Psychology.
Dr. Guzzardo currently serves as the Board President for the non-profit organization R.I.S.E. Northwest, which provides services for children who have suffered the death of one or both parents.
